Dinosaur Missing Link Found in Utah - May 5, 2005: "ossils excavated from ancient gravel at The Crystal Geyser Quarry are about 125 million years old and show features of two-legged carnivorous dinosaurs called maniraptors, from which birds are believed to have evolved.
The fossils have leaf-shaped teeth, stubby legs and the expansive bellies of plant eaters. This new species is named Falcarius Utahensis, which means, 'sickle maker from Utah.'"
